Poets On Call is a group of published poets and professional photographers who create custom greeting cards reworking your words with new photographs. We are the only source of dating books, each page of which tells a story from a couple's life together from their first date to their wedding ceremony. The text is an artful retelling of the story to which a unique photograph is then added.

Poets On Call creates custom greeting cards. Is a special birthday, anniversary or other event coming up for a close friend, friends or family member(s)? You could grab a card from the rack at a card store, but this is your nephew's 1st birthday , your sister's 40th birthday, your best friend's (paper) 1st or your parents' 50th anniversary. You need something to mark the occasion which is as special as the day- and affordable.

Poets On Call creates dating books. Are you planning your wedding or commitment ceremony? Many couples will have their formal wedding photos of the day itself bound in a wedding book, but you could have a museum quality book which tells stories from your first date up to the ceremony: a dating book.

How does this work? It all starts with a phone call, both of you at one end and one of the poets at the other taking notes. Once we have basic details to picture the event, and we may follow the phone call up with a few emails requesting some clarifications, our poets set to work to get the story across is brilliant text. Once you love the text, we pass it along to one of our photographers who will set up a photoshoot with you. Again, each page of your dating book includes text and a photograph based around one story you have chosen to save.

Who Are The Poets? Poets On Call® is a team of published poets working via the internet. We know how to turn your own words and recollections for a custom card or dating book into literary text. Our professional photographers will then match the text with the perfect photograph(s) shot exclusively for your card or book.

What are the costs? Poets On Call charges by the card or page and not by the hour. We pay for any phone calls. These are custom made which become your property. You may print as many copies as you wish. Poets On Call will work around your budget because we actually love working on these projects.
